Lifestyle factors that increase risk include excess body fat, alcohol consumption (risk increases with increased consumption) aging, (those between 45-70 are at greatest risk) smoking (both current and former smokers) and a diet that is low in certain fruits and vegetables (and vitamins). Black people and men are at increased risk.
