Feeling Guilt or Shame About Managing Your Weight?

People who've had a lifelong struggle to manage weight may have feelings of shame or guilt about a lack of self control when perhaps genetics are influencing hunger, food choices and habits.

The FTO gene impacts how we experience hunger and how full we feel after a meal. A variant of this gene has been associated with higher BMI, increased energy intake, especially fat intake, increased appetite, reduced satiety (fullness), poor food choices and eating habits. The variant has also been associated with an increased susceptibility for type 2 diabetes. Extra weight is associated with some forms of cancer.

Want to learn more about your genetic expression? I offer a free 15 minute initial consultation and the 3x4 genetic test is reduced through 8/31/22. Give me a call at 513-607-6659 or visit my website healingfoodforcancer.com. #healingfoodforcancer
