Regular hand washing, separating raw foods from ready-to-eat foods, cooking foods to the appropriate internal temperature, and refrigerating food promptly are just a few steps that are important to food safety and reducing the risk of getting sick. I was watching a video this weekend of someone preparing frittatas and they just wiped their hands on a dish towel after cracking the eggs - CRINGE MOMENT!
