Nutrition Interventions During Cancer Treatment

Writer's picture: Mary Johnson MEd, MSN, RDMary Johnson MEd, MSN, RD

Nutrition interventions during cancer treatment result in fewer treatment related side-effects, fewer hospitalizations and improved quality of life.

My name is Mary Johnson. I’m an oncology dietitian with a Master's degree and 5 years' experience. I own a private practice and a consulting business.

My clients are cancer patients and individuals at high risk. I take an evidence-based approach and look at the whole person – including diet, physical activity, sleep, and stress.

I provide compassionate care to patients who are undergoing treatment to offset side effects as well as survivors and individuals wanting to adopt a cancer protective lifestyle.
